Little Lions is a friendly, welcoming playgroup for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and the adults who care for them. Whether you’re a mum, dad, grandparent, childminder or another carer, you’ll find a relaxed place to meet others while the children enjoy playing, exploring and making new friends.

The group meets every Tuesday during term time, from 10 to 11.30am in the Church Hall on Park Lane, Thrybergh. It’s free and there’s no need to book – simply come along whenever you can.
Each session offers plenty for little ones to enjoy, with a wide range of toys, imaginative play, themed crafts, games and action songs and rhymes. Children are free to play at their own pace while carers can relax with a barista-style coffee or another hot drink and enjoy a chat with others. It’s a great opportunity for children to develop confidence, social skills and friendships, while adults can connect with others who are sharing the same stage of life.
Little Lions is open to everyone, whether you’ve been coming for years or you’re visiting for the first time. There’s no expectation to be part of the church, and no pressure to join in with anything you’re not comfortable with. We simply aim to provide a safe, welcoming space where families and carers can enjoy spending time together and feel part of the local community.
